Tata Motors launches the TIAGO AMT in Dhaka
Dhaka: Tata Motors announced the commercial launch of its hatchback TIAGO Easy-Shift AMT in Bangladesh, at a starting price of 14.95 Lacs Taka (ex-showroom Dhaka) for the Revotron 1.2L (petrol) variant. The TIAGO will be available across the country in over 20 Tata Motors sales outlets.
The TIAGO Easy Shift AMT is equipped with four gear positions – Automatic, Neutral, Reverse and Manual. In addition, it boasts of 2 drive modes – Sports & City. There is an in-built ‘creep’ feature that enables the car to crawl as soon as the pressure is eased off the brake pedal, without pressing the accelerator. This also prevents the car from rolling back when it starts from an inclined position.
The TIAGO has helped Tata Motors register some growth in the passenger vehicle market and is a fairly robust vehicle that has been benchmarked globally. With inputs from the Pune, UK and Italy design studios, the TIAGO’s exterior design has a dynamic silhouette and a signature hexagonal grill, giving it a bold, expressive and confident stance. The interiors have been crafted with precision for a premium appeal. The geometric texture accented with chrome handles, knitted fabrics, colour harmony, layered design theme with a dual tone interior, customisable air vents, premium graphics on the fabric and body hugging seat bolsters, all give it an upmarket feel. The infotainment system is designed exclusively by HARMAN and comes with Turn-by-Turn Navi app and a Juke-Car app.
The Revotron 1.2L petrol powertrain is indigenously developed by the company in India, and programmed to deliver superior fuel economy.
Available in the XTA variant, TIAGO will be available in six colour options – Striker Blue, Berry Red, Sunburst Orange, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White and Platinum Silver. The car will come with a warranty of 3 Years / 1,00,000 km (whichever is earlier) with 6 free services.
