Jaguar XE and XF gets the efficient 2.0L Ingenium petrol engine in India

The Jaguar XE and XF in India will now be available with the efficient & lightweight all-aluminium Ingenium petrol powertrain. The 2.0L Ingenium petrol motor is tuned to offer 147 kW and 184 kW output, and mated to an 8-Speed Electronic Automatic Transmission with Sequential Shift and All Surface Progress Control. The 147 kW powertrain is offered on the XE Pure and Prestige as well as the XF Prestige, while the 184 kW powertrain is offered on the XE Portfolio and XF Portfolio.

The petrol units significantly improves and optimises efficiency, power and torque across the rev range. Prices for the Jaguar XE with the new petrol engine start at INR 35.99 lacs, while the Jaguar XF starts from INR 49.80 lacs.
