The sales network has over 165 display bays and 18 outlets, providing an opportunity for customers to upgrade from their non Mercedes-Benz car to a Mercedes-Benz, and choose from a range of sedans, SUVs and even AMGs. Customer are reasonably assured of the right price for their pre-owned car through a transparent evaluation process and a stringent documentation process.
Mercedes-Benz has been in the Pre-Owned car business since 2010 as ‘Proven Exclusivity’ and the brand was renamed as ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ in 2014.
The Pre-Owned cars‘ at Mercedes-Benz Certified’ go through a 139-point checklist for hassle-free ownership and the overall experience is as close to a new car purchase in terms of facilities, service infrastructure, financing options, warranty and service packages.
The market size of Pre-Owned cars has grown significantly in Tier II and III cities, where there is a strong demand and aspirational value attached to the Mercedes-Benz brand. The cars enlisted under ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ are thoroughly quality checked by trained staff and come with manufacturer-backed warranty of one year or 20,000 kms.
Every car under ‘Mercedes- Benz Certified’ is less than five years old, has run less than 100,000 kms with no accident history, and has had no more than two previous owners.
