On the back of strong demand for the Virtus and Taigun, Volkswagen India has reported a growth of over 60% in September 2022, as compared to the corresponding month last year. The performance is largely credited to the demand and popularity of the two new products in the line-up. While the VW Virtus has reignited the premium mid-sized sedan segment, VW Taigun has the distinction of being the most-awarded SUVW.
Amidst supply chain challenges plaguing the industry, Brand VW has still maintained its product offerings and continues to deliver through its 360° efforts. Volkswagen India has already delivered close to 7000 units of its global sedan, Virtus since its launch in India. VW Taigun also completed a year of being on Indian roads in the month of September, and the occasion was marked by the launch of the First Anniversary Edition of the SUVW.
Volkswagen has a network of 152 sales touch points, 120 service facilities present in 114 cities that covers more than 80% of India’s geography. The brand has also launched several initiatives under the Sarvottam 2.0 program that ensures accessibility across interfaces through the customer journey.
