LECTRIX EV targets Gen Z with LXS G2.0 and LXS G3.0 electric scooters

Gen Z can now level up their urban mobility game. Lectrix EV, the electric mobility arm of SAR Group launched two new tech-laden electric scooters targeted at Gen Z – the Lectrix LXS G2.0 and LXS G3.0. Designed to be a game-changer for urban youth, these scooters provide a modern, stylish, and connected commute, and are packed with 93 features – many of them being first-in-class.

With a focus on innovation and safety, LXS G scooters boast of 36 advanced safety features, 24 intuitive smart features, 14 comfort features, and more. Riders can now enjoy an intelligent and connected experience with the integrated navigation system, voice assistant, and over-the-air updates for a seamless and up-to-date ride. Other features like auto-indicators, voice enabled ignition, helmet warning, and vehicle diagnostics make daily commute a breeze. Follow me lamps, find-my-vehicle, and emergency SOS buttons are some of the other features that have been introduced in this segment for the first time. The mobile app allows riders to remotely operate the seat, access ride statistics, and stay connected with their ride at all times.

LXS G scooters are sleekly designed, tech enabled mobility solutions at an affordable price. Positioned as a catalyst for empowering young Indians to embrace self-reliance and progress, they come in vibrant colours and cater to the youthful spirit, offering a ride quality that reflects both style and substance. The products are rigorously tested for over 2.6 lac kms, and the robust chassis guarantees a reliable and durable ride on bustling city streets. Available with a 2.3 kW and a 3.0 kW battery, the scooters offer a range of 85 to 100+ kms in a single charge.

The target audience for these scooters is the young Indian Gen Z, who seek affordable and connected mobility solutions, and the company aims to make the shift to electric mobility easy and risk-free for them.

Priced at INR 1.03 lacs onwards, the e-scooters will be available pan-India, through a dealership network in 100+ cities. Pre-bookings start today at just INR 499/-. The limited period introductory offer for early adopters is available till 15 August 2023. Deliveries will start from 16 August 2023 onwards.

With a manufacturing capacity of 1.5 lac EVs at their Manesar plant, the company has made an initial investment of INR 300 crores and hopes to make a significant impact in the affordable 2-wheeler EV market, through a range of robust products that are 100% ‘Make in India’ and focused on tech and innovation.
