Nissan has also launched a virtual test drive feature that allows customers to experience the new Nissan Magnite on their personal device, wherever they may be. This interactive drive experience will give the customer a unique chance to drive the vehicle with a virtual sales consultant.
This is a fairly significant launch by Nissan in light of their underwhelming performance in India so far, inspite of a few good products in their portfolio. While the lack of a wider dealership and sales & service network weighs heavy in the minds of car buyers, the Magnite launch in the midst of the pandemic, may turn their fortunes to an extent. The pricing also undercuts all competitors and makes the entry level Magnite cheaper than some of the popular hatchbacks in the market. Hopefully this will be a disruptive game changer for Nissan, that remains high on technology and aspirations.
