‘Jeep 4×4 Month’ kicks off in India as it inches towards 20,000 unit sales

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has sold nearly 20,000 Jeep Compass SUVs in India. And the company has kicked off a first-of-its-kind ‘Jeep 4×4 Month’ between 4 to 30 April 2018, to celebrating its success with its customers.

The event kicks off as part of the International Jeep 4×4 Day, which is celebrated on 4 April every year, which is the fourth day of the fourth month. During this period, new customers who are considering or have booked a 4×2 variant will get a chance to upgrade to the Limited 4×4 variant by paying just INR 50,000 more. The company will also run CampJeep, a 4×4 driving and brand experience for potential customers and enthusiasts in Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad through the month. A high impact communication campaign encompassing Print, Digital, OOH and TV is also planned for the activity.

In the first quarter of CY2018, over 6000 Compass SUVs have been delivered in India. Launched in India on 31 July 2017, the SUV is available in three premium trims – Sport, Longitude and Limited, and is offered in 10 variants with 2.0L Turbo Diesel and 1.4L Turbo Petrol Multi-air powertrain options, with 4×4 and 4×2 derivatives in the line-up.
