Flipkart launched automobiles as a category in January 2016 and offers a wide selection of automotive accessories as well. The exclusive association with Mahindra reaffirms the growing online market in India and rapidly changing trends.
The KUV100 is targeted at the youth and first time car buyers, and the technology slant in marketing serves the brand well. The brand has already recorded over 21000 bookings through online and offline channels since launch, and 45% percent of the bookings on Flipkart came from the top 5 cities.
