New Tata Safari launched at a starting price of INR 14.69 lacs

Tata Motors has launched its premium SUV the all-new Safari at a starting price of INR 14.69 lacs for the 6/7 seater version. Stylish, versatile, plush and comfortable, the new Safari is a powerful performer that caters to the modern, multifaceted lifestyle of new age SUV customer. A combination of prestige & sophistication with expression & thrill, the new Safari also comes in an ‘Adventure’ persona that sports an expressive and rugged look, and is available in a distinct Tropical Mist colour.

The Safari is versatile and suited for intra city commute, expressway cruising or for the unexplored paths in the hinterland. With a powerful 2.0 litre turbocharged Kyrotech engine and 2741mm wheelbase, it comes with signature Oyster White interiors paired with an Ashwood finish on the dashboard. It has a panoramic sunroof, 6 & 7-seater options, and an 8.8-inch floating infotainment system.

Safari has a variety of safety features such as all disc brakes, electronic parking brake and an advanced ESP with 14 functionalities. Coupled with the Boss Mode providing enhanced ride comfort, it offers a living room style ride experience.

The ‘Adventure’ persona of the new Safari will come with R18 black tinted charcoal grey machined alloys and an all piano black finish in its grille, roof rails inserts, outer door handles along with a Safari mascot placement on the bonnet. On the interiors, the ‘Adventure’ persona looks plush with signature earthy brown interiors, dark chrome interior accents on air vents, knob, switches, inner door handle and instrument cluster along with a piano black interior pack on steering wheel, grab handles, floor console frame and IP mid pad finisher. The all-new Safari will be available in nine variants, starting from XE and going up to the XZA+.

In its new avatar, the Safari takes forward the Impact 2.0 design language with the proven capability of OMEGARC, the architecture derived from the D8 platform from Land Rover, which has earlier been used in the Harrier.
