Volvo Cars registers 28% growth in 2017

Volvo Cars has achieved a 28% annual growth in volumes, ending the calendar year 2017 with sales of 2029 units. The performance comes on the back of a year marked by new product launches, start of local assembly, network expansion and several brand engagement programmes.

Products like the S60 Polestar, V90 Cross Country and the all new XC60 were launched in 2017, and the first locally assembled XC90 was also rolled out during the year.
