BMW exhibits rolling sculpture by Sandro Chia at the Indian Art Fair 2017

The 13th BMW Art Car by contemporary Italian artist Sandro Chia was exhibited at the India Art Fair 2017, held in New Delhi between 2-5 February 2017.

The 13th Art Car was created by Sandro Chia for BMW in 1992 with the BMW M3 GTR which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The artwork is the artists’ perspective of the car reflecting multiple onlooker gazes.

The Art Cars or ‘Rolling Sculptures’ as they are called, are original masterpieces of art that combine artistic expression with automobile design. 19 well known artists have so far created Art Cars for BMW across the world.
