Ducati India Brand Ambassador Ranveer Singh joins the thrills at MotoGP Bharat 2023
MotoGP Bharat unfolded at the prestigious Buddh International Circuit between 22-24 September 2023, setting the stage for a lavish motorcycling extravaganza. Embracing the epitome of high-octane exhilaration on the final race day, Indian movie star Ranveer Singh graced the MotoGP World Championship, which happened in India for the first time, in his capacity as the Brand Ambassador for Ducati India.
Radiating true Ducati style, Paolo Ciabatti, the Sporting Director of Ducati Corse personally hosted Ranveer Singh, taking him through an exclusive tour of the Ducati garage, delving into the heart of adrenaline-pumping racing.
Expressing his fascination for Ducati’s MotoGP prowess, Ranveer was taken to the electrifying MotoGP grid before the race, immersing himself in the energy of the roaring engines and the eager anticipation of countless Indian fans. Post the race’s commencement, he witnessed the riveting event from the heart of the action, within the Ducati garage, resonating with the thunderous MotoGP bikes hurtling towards the Buddh International Circuit’s Turn 1.
Ranveer Singh shared his thoughts, saying, “It’s a great honour to attend the first ever MotoGP race with the Ducati Corse team in India. I have always been a fan of the Ducati range but to be able to see the Ducati MotoGP race bikes, in the garage, with the team was an awesome experience. MotoGP is truly a spectacle, and I had a superb time, full of adrenaline and I am going back with amazing memories. It’s a great day for India, Indian Motorsport fans and I can’t wait to experience racing and Ducati again!”
Ranveer Singh’s presence and the electrifying aura he brought to the event was a special moment for Ducati India. The inaugural Indian GP, christened MotoGP Bharat, already held a special place in their hearts, and Ranveer’s infectious energy elevated the occasion to the next level.
Despite a challenging turn of events during the race, the Ducati team eagerly anticipates the upcoming race in Japan.
