Tata Motors steps up the design game with IMPACT DESIGN 2.0

To mark its 150th anniversary year, Tata Motors has launches the second phase of its Impact design philosophy for passenger vehicles, which was initially launched in 2016.

The Tiago, Hexa, Tigor and Nexon were created under the original Impact Design philosophy and displayed a remarkable improvement in aesthetics and form within the portfolio. Impact Design 2.0 builds upon the original concept as a more sharper and contemporary expression of the now recognisable design language.

Under the new scheme of things, the exteriors are defined by enhanced wheel sizes, better stance, strong proportions and improved road presence. The body colours also ensure that the vehicle stands out in every light condition.

The interiors feature high quality material and a design that is clean and clutter free, with a blend of design flourish and practicality. Every function is within arms’ reach for added in-cabin comfort. The colour combinations remain premium and luxurious with HMI screens with intuitive and a clear interface and graphics.

The IMPACT DESIGN 2.0 Philosophy is refreshed under the 3 ‘Ex’ and 3 ‘In’. The 3 EX’s would integrate Exciting Proportions, Expressive Surfaces and Extra-ordinary Details; whereas the 3 IN’s would be about Inviting Spaces, Intelligent Choices and In-Touch Interfaces.
