Riders Music Festival. Motorcycles, music and more
New Delhi: The Riders Music Festival saw two days of action combining the best of music and motorcycles, with some food, shopping, gaming and stunts thrown in. Held at the JLN Stadium grounds in New Delhi over the weekend of 18-19 February 2017, it was the first ever biking cum music festival in the country.
The first of it’s kind festival began with bike rallies on both days, that saw Harleys, Triumphs and Ducatis assemble at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The venue had food trucks, mixologists, flea markets, a live tattoo station, an adventure arena with paintballing, bike stunt shows and customizations on display. Live performers included popular stand-up acts like Kanan Gill and Kenny Sebastian and musicians like Lucky Ali, Hari & Sukhmani, Kutle Khan, Monophonik, Voctronica, The Local Train and Amit Trivedi.
The festival saw over 15,000 people in attendance and the organizers now plan to take the festival across multiple cities within the country.
