The Rally of Jaypore 2016

Jaipur: Rally of Jaypore, powered by BMW is an event that brings out the versatility of BMW’s SAV range, providing motor sport aficionados a first-hand experience of its capabilities. The 4th edition of the Rally of Jaypore took place this year with the addition of a ‘Super Speciality Stage’, wherein all participants reaching the final stage had to prove their mettle in a specially designed off-road track, to beat the best lap time in the BMW X range of Sports Activity Vehicles (SAV).
The Rally of Jaypore 2016 was divided into two categories:
- Car/ SUV – 2 Wheel Drive (Track and Trail) – (200 km)
- SUV – 4 Wheel Drive (Sand Storm) – (450 km) further classified into – PRO up to 1600cc and PRO above 1600cc
The ‘Rally of Jaypore’ 2016 is a national rally championship and a perfect platform to showcase and promote motorsport adventure amongst a wide audience. The competition at the rally is intense, with the skills of both men and machines tested to the limit through bumpy rides, rocky tracks and slippery pits. And the ultimate winner in this time-based challenge is the one who overcomes all the challenges clocking the best lap time.
