Munich: The BMW Group recently celebrated its centenary, and the BMW Museum in Munich now brings this century of the company’s history alive with the exhibition “100 Masterpieces. BMW Group – 100 years of innovative strength and entrepreneurial courage”.
The centenary exhibition will run until September 2017 and provide unique insights into the first hundred years of the company’s history – the most important vehicles, motor-sport successes, historic milestones, and select masterpieces of the past century up to the present day. Visitors come into the Museum Bowl through a Time Tunnel and walk through illustrated information panels, curated exhibits, theme boards, stories, film clips, photographs, informative drawings and design case studies, many of which have never been on public display before.
The BMW Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10:00 to 18:00 hrs. Entry costs 10 euros. Additional information on this unique exhibition is available at: www.bmw-museum.de.
