Fiat India reaches out to the flood affected cars in Chennai

Mumbai, 13 December 2015: Approximately 300 Fiat cars have been affected in the Chennai floods and the company is reaching out to owners, extending free road side assistance to ensure quicker repair. FCA is mobilizing additional dealer manpower from nearby states to expedite repairs and has also committed to share costs on the genuine parts replaced in the flood affected cars post the insurance support.

Speaking on the initiative, Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India said, “We are committed to provide world class services to our customers and ensuring that all the necessary steps are taken to help the Fiat owners in Chennai.”

The repair support will be provided at all the three Fiat workshops in Chennai. Here is hoping that all other automobile manufacturers extend their support to vehicle owners in Chennai too, so that they have the solace of recovering some bit of the losses suffered during the massive devastation.
