11 countries. 50+ cities. 22,780 kms. A family travels from Bangalore to Paris in a FIAT Linea T-Jet

Mumbai, 20 November 2015: Team L.I.F.E (Little Indian Family of Explorers) comprising of Anand Baid, 38, Punita Baid, 37, and their children Yash, 12, and Dhriti, 8, completed an incredible journey of 22,780 kilometres in 111 days where they travelled through 11 countries and 50+ cities on an expedition from Bangalore to Paris in their Fiat Linea T- Jet.

A long journey such as this in a 2WD sedan is commendable, and speaks volumes about the Fiat Linea T- Jet and its build quality. The confidence boosting performance, safety, comfort and low maintenance of the vehicle ensured a trouble free ride for the young team. Its high ground clearance of 185mm helped them navigate through extreme interiors, and the stable and spacious interiors provided a safe and hassle free travel experience.

Team L.I.F.E  travelled through Nepal, Tibet-China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain and France to experience some amazing landscapes and experiences, like the scenic Silk Route, the Himalayan mountain range, sand dunes in Western China and the cultural practices of Central Asia. They also visited the world’s largest burning crater called Darvaza which has been burning for over 40 years, travelled along the Caspian Sea and through the Vatican City, and saw some of the iconic landmarks like Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona, Palace of Versailles, the Millau Viaduct bridge, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Eiffel Towers, to name a few.

Road trips are always the best way to experience the flavours and culture of a region, and here’s wishing the Baids more adventures, travels and expeditions.
