Mercedes-Benz India to showcase Luxury, Versatility and Future Mobility at Auto Expo 2018

The 14th Auto Expo 2018 is round the corner and the Mercedes-Benz Pavilion at Hall No. 15 promises to be exciting, with Luxury, Versatility and Future Mobility being the theme for the marquee brand.

Keeping up with the theme, the much awaited Mercedes-Maybach S 650 sedan would be launched, the Concept EQ electric vehicle would be on display, and the all New E-Class All Terrain would make its India debut.

The E-Class All-Terrain made its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in 2016. It boasts of SUV like versatility, greater ground clearance, large 19″ light alloys and 4MATIC all-wheel drive as standard features. It has SUV-like looks with flared wheel arches and a two-fin grille with a star integrated in the centre.

Overall, the Mercedes-Benz pavilion will embody modern luxury, future technology and mobility, driving performance, innovative design and progressiveness. The pavilion display would include AMG & Dream Cars, luxury sedans & SUVs, and the complete line up includes:

  • AMG: F1 Car, AMG GTR, AMG GLC 43 Coupe and AMG SLC 43
  • Show Car: Concept EQ
  • Specialty Cars: E-Class All-Terrain and C-Class Cabriolet
  • Sedans: Mercedes-Maybach S 650, New E 350 d, C 250 d Edition C
  • SUVs: GLA 220 d 4MATIC, GLC 220 d, GLS 350 d

Other than the cars, the pavilion will also introduce a host of digital assets during the Auto Expo, including an industry first AI based Chatbot, which will use artificial intelligence to answer customer questions. It will also have an Artificial Reality based function which will further enhance customer interactivity with the Bot.
