Jaguar announces the I-PACE eTROPHY – the world’s first single-make electric race series

The Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY series will join the Formula E circuit in 2018, where the Jaguar I-PACE race car will compete in a first-of-its-kind single-make series. The electric racer is based on the Jaguar I-PACE, which is a premium, performance driven, all electric SUV set to launch next year.
Jaguar Land Rover has already announced that from 2020 every new vehicle from their stable will be electrified, with an option of battery electric, plug-in hybrid and mild hybrid power supporting their petrol and diesel powertrains.
In the financial year 2017/18, Jaguar Land Rover plans to invest more than £4 billion in new products, innovative technologies, and increasing manufacturing capacity.
