The 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Rod is priced at INR 5.86 lacs

New Delhi, 15 March 2017: The 2017 edition Harley-Davidson® Street Rod™has been introduced with a tuned High Output Revolution™ X 750 engine, which produces more torque through the mid-range and power at the top-end. It churns out 11% more horsepower and 5% more torque than the Street 750,and is tuned to deliver strongly between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm, with midrange performance that a rider can feel and exploit in real-world situations. Peak power arrives @8,250 rpm, and peak torque is delivered @4,000 rpm.

The Street Rod will be offered in three colour options – Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold, at an ex-showroom (New Delhi) price of INR 5.86 lacs.

The bigger hitting motor is matched with sharper chassis geometry and an aggressive riding position. In addition, there are upgrades to the suspension, brakes and wheels. The front end features rigid 43mm inverted forks gripped by lightweight aluminium yokes and new rear shock absorbers feature an external reservoir to increase fluid capacity and maintain damping consistency.

It features a larger volume air box and new dual 42mm throttle bodies, new four-valve cylinder heads and high-lift camshafts, plus a higher-volume exhaust muffler – all designed to increase airflow and efficiency. It has a new seat shape and the seat height is raised to 765mm. The flat, drag-style handlebar creates an aggressive riding position and it sits on 17″ front & rear Open Spoke Black Cast aluminium wheels.

The Street Rod boasts of a liberal dose of custom styling with a new colour matched speed screen, a new tail section, perforated rear mudguard, all new LED tail light with H-D signature lighting.

The Street Rod is performance oriented, delivering style and agility for an urban environment and built to appeal to a specific demographic. It is on display across all Harley-Davidson dealerships and now open for booking.
