Ahmedabad, 24 January 2017: The Mahindra MOJO Desert Trail was flagged off from Jaipur on 17 December 2016 and ended in Ahmedabad on 25 December 2016. Riders from across the country participating in the trail that covered a total distance of over 2,500 kms.Participants rode through cold climes, sandy and tough terrains of North Western India including the deserts of Jaipur & Rann of Kutch. The trail was held across two legs from Jaipur to Bhuj and Bhuj to Ahmedabad. Along the way, participants spent two nights at Sam Sand Dunes, visited Jaisalmer Fort and Longewala War Museum. There were stop overs at Kuldhara and the vibrant White Desert Festival – Rannutsav, which added a different dimension to the experience.
Before ending the trail at Ahmedabad, the participants covered Haji Pir Dargha, Mata No Madh, Koteshwar temple and Lakhpat fort and headed towards the north western coast to be at Mandvi beach by sundown.
The routes and experiences during the Desert Trail embodies the same spirit of riding & brotherhood that makes the MOJO Tribe come together each time, on every trail; be it The Jungle Trail, The Mountain Trail or The Coastal Trail.
