Ford introduces the new EcoSport Platinum Edition

New Delhi, 19 January 2017:  Ford has introduced a new Platinum Edition for its compact SUV EcoSport, with enhanced technology & features. It would be available in two powertrain options – the 1.5L TDCi diesel engine priced at INR 10.69 lacs, and the 1.0L EcoBoost petrol engine priced at INR 10.39 lacs.

The diesel achieves a peak power of 100 PS and a fuel efficiency of 22.27 km/l, whereas the 1.0L EcoBoost petrol delivers 125 PS of power and fuel efficiency of 18.88 km/l.

The Platinum Edition has several upgrades that accentuate EcoSport’s design, offering more convenience with better driving dynamics. It sports a dual tone exterior design with a black roof, 17″ wheels, wider tyres with new alloys and new rear & front bumper appliques.

There is an 8″ touchscreen infotainment system for music and video playback, with integrated navigation and a rear view camera. Cruise Control has also been introduced in this variant.

Safety features include 6 airbags.
