New Delhi, 15 December 2016: The 2017 Volvo V40 and V40 Cross Country was launched today in Kochi. The V40 has been acclaimed for its trendy Scandinavian design and the 2017 edition now sports full-LED Thor’s Hammer headlamp cluster and a new waterfall design grille with the large Ironmark, much like the XC90 & S90.
The range comes standard with a world-first pedestrian airbag, a safety cage, 2-stage front airbags with drivers knee bag, pretensioners for front seats, dynamic stability & traction control, emergency brake assist with ABS, side impact protection and whiplash protection.

– V40 D3 R-Design: INR 28.53 lacs
– V40 D3 Kinetic: INR 25.49 lacs
– V40 CC D3 Inscription: INR 29.4 lacs
– V40 CC T4 Momentum: INR 27.2 lacs
The interiors come with 3 different leather trims for the V40 & 5 leather trims for the V40 Cross Country including dual-tone. A new set of wheel design for both models enhance the look further.
Powered by a sub 2L diesel engine with 6-speed automatic FWD, the entry level luxury hatch is equipped with features like Interior Air Quality System that reduced PM2.5 & PM10 by 95%, Power Operated front seats with drivers memory, Personal Car Communicator with keyless entry & drive, Fixed panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth & USB enabled High Performance audio system, Gear Shift paddles, Park assist pilot + Park Assist, Rear parking camera and City safety.
