BMW launches the new 320i at a starting price of INR 36.90 lacs

Gurgaon, India, 12 May 2016: With the launch of the new BMW 320i, the BMW 3 Series is now available across the country in both petrol and diesel variants. It comes to India as a CBU (completely built-up) unit and would be available at an ex-showroom price of INR 36.90 lacs for the BMW 320i Prestige and INR 42.70 lacs for the BMW 320i Luxury Line.

Sporty and elegant in character, the new 320i features the latest generation TwinPower Turbo petrol engine, that excels in power delivery and responsiveness even at low speeds. It is more efficient than before, and produces an output of 184 hp and a maximum torque of 270 Nm at 1,350-4,600 rpm. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.3 secs and has a top speed of 235 km/h. The engine is mated with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Features in the new 320i include Auto Start-Stop, ECO PRO mode, Brake-Energy Regeneration, Intelligent Lightweight Construction, Electronic Power Steering and 50:50 Weight Distribution. Multiple drive modes allow a choice of different driving dynamics to suit terrain conditions. The iDrive information system, BMW Apps, Park Distance Control (PDC), Connectivity through Bluetooth and USB devices are offered as standard, while the Luxury Line comes with an integrated GPS navigation and 3D maps.
