The Datsun redi-GO is a blend between a compact crossover and a compact hatchback, with a ground clearance of 185mm. With modern styling that aims to be attractive to the younger generation, it is powered by a new 0.8L three-cylinder engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is likely to be priced aggressively at around INR 2.50 lacs and would compete with Renault Kwid and Maruti Alto 800.
Datsun redi-GO sports a brave, modern and bold design within a tall body structure that exudes confidence. This also makes it spacious with a high driving position, which would be a new feature in the segment. It is based on the Common Module Family(CMF-A) platform from the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
