World premiere of Volkswagen T-Cross Breeze and new up! at the Geneva International Motor Show

Wolfsburg/Geneva, 01 March 2016: Volkswagen is presenting two new concepts at the Geneva International Motor Show starting today – the open-top T-Cross Breeze concept car and the new up!The T-Cross Breeze is the first open-top compact sports utility vehicle and an affordable cabriolet that is an entirely fresh take on the segment. Sporty and outdoor inspired, the T-Cross Breeze is a smart looking vehicle with a solid feel, and has a concept of vehicle controls featuring scarcely a single switch.

The new up! on the other hand is a fun car that offers a choice of powerful petrol engines, efficient natural gas and electric options. The top version delivers 66 kW/ 90 PS (TSI) and has a choice of three equipment lines, a cross model and the roomy load up! micro delivery van. Added flexibility of customisation, new exterior colours, seat covers, trendy dash pads and modern decal designs are the main attractions of the up!

The vehicle provides smartphone integration via an app, which converts into an on-board computer, navigation system and music player all in one. Volkswagen is introducing the ‘up! beats’ in this one – a trendy 300-watt premium sound system with seven speakers, fine-tuned by BeatsAudio, which takes the audio experience to another level, making the up! a cheerful, peppy and vibrant car to drive about.
