#AutoExpo2016: Tata Motors showcases its compact sedan KITE 5, SUV HEXA, compact SUV NEXON and new hatchback at The Motor Show
The new hatchback ZICA has been showcased publicly for the first time. While it carries the ‘ZICA’ label for the duration of the event, as a socially responsible company, Tata Motors has decided to re-brand the car after the outbreak of the Zika virus.
The production ready SUV HEXA, which was first showcased as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015, is a lifestyle SUV with a bold design and sharp cosmetic features.
The NEXON on the other hand is an elegant and sporty compact SUV which comes with dynamic, new generation best-in-class diesel and petrol engines.
The KITE 5 has been showcased for the first time globally. The sub-four metre compact sedan embodies the company’s new IMPACT design philosophy, and promises best-in-class driving pleasure and the advanced ConnectNext system within the segment.
Tata Motors has partnered with Jayem Automotives for developing performance & special vehicles. The partnership will bring alive the next level of personalization with performance enhancement kits as well as design modifications. At the Auto Expo, the first product from this partnership, a sporty & performance hatchback, is on display. It has stylized body kit and comes equipped with the 1.2T Revotron engine, enhanced to 110 PS power and 170 Nm torque, delivering 0 to 100 km/h within 12 seconds.
