#AutoExpo2016: Maruti Suzuki unveils its stylish compact urban SUV Vitara Brezza

New Delhi, 03 February 2016: Maruti Suzuki unveiled its new compact urban SUV, the Vitara Brezza at the Auto Expo 2016. A stylish SUV with class leading features, it is all set to add a dash of glamour to the segment and take on two formidable rivals – the Ford EcoSport and the recently launched Mahindra TUV300. It is expected to be priced under the S-Cross and likely to be launched in a few weeks.

The Vitara Brezza comes in striking dual tone colour combinations with a floating roof feel, which gives it a distinct street identity. It has a raised stance with a 198mm ground clearance and the front features a bold chrome grille and signature ‘Bull Horn’ lights. The square wheel arches, short overhangs, upright hood and sloping roofline gives it a confident and dynamic stance. The interior is bold and contemporary with a futuristic layout, resolute garnishing, sporty seats and versatile flip folded rear seats.

The Vitara Brezza comes in two engine options – the DDiS200 and the DDiS320, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and promises high fuel efficiency. Driver airbag is standard and front passenger airbag and ABS with EBD is offered as an option from the base variant. A unique feature is the high level of personalization that customers in this segment can experience, by opting for different themes like Glamour, Urban and Sporty to match their personality.

This one is bound to shake up the market, and it seems Maruti Suzuki has another winner in its hands after the massive success of the Baleno.
