#AutoExpo2016: Iconic pony car Mustang is the highlight of Ford India’s strong product line up
The new Ford Mustang combines its 50-year heritage with a sleek design and innovative technologies. It retains key design elements but with a contemporary execution. The new Mustang will be available with the latest edition of the 5.0-liter V8 engine, featuring an upgraded valve-train and cylinder heads that yield more than 420 BHP and 529 Nm of torque.
Alongside the Mustang is the all-new Ford Endeavour on display. With a blend of rugged capability and technological prowess of a bold and versatile SUV with true off-road capability, it offers great refinement and comfort. The new Endeavour is equipped with SYNC 2, Ford’s hands-free in-car connectivity system with an 8-inch color touchscreen, and an advanced Terrain Management System that allows the driver to optimize vehicle performance to different terrains at the turn of a dial. The Ford Endeavour makes safety a top priority, offering up to seven airbags, including the first-in-segment knee-airbag for enhanced protection. The premium SUV will also introduce Semi-Auto Parallel Park Assist to India, a first-in-class technology that finds and steers a car into the parking space automatically.
The rest of the portfolio on display at the Ford pavilion includes the EcoSport, new Figo and Figo Aspire.
