Alto 800 and Alto K10 now come with driver airbag

New Delhi, 14 January 2016: All variants of Alto 800 and Alto K10 now come with an option of driver airbag. Both these vehicles from Maruti Suzuki command a lion’s share of the Indian market, and customers can now opt for enhanced safety in the entry level segment.

Alto has been India’s No. 1 selling car for 10 years in a row, with an average monthly sale of over 22,000 units in FY 2014-15. Cumulatively, it has sold over 29 lakh units in India.

Over the last year, Maruti Suzuki has enhanced its focus on safety across all brands and variants. While the recently launched S-Cross and Baleno come with dual airbags, ABS and EBD as standard across variants, the same is now offered as an option in all variants of Ciaz, Eritga, DZire, WagonR and Celerio.
