Surat, 21 September 2015: Volvo unveiled its flagship model Volvo XC90 at a new showroom Autobots, in Surat today. It has been launched in D5 Inscription and Momentum trims – the top model Inscription has an introductory price of INR 80,88,000 and Momentum is priced at INR 67,55,500 (ex-showroom Surat without Octroi).
The new XC90 is a visually striking, premium 7-seater SUV with new powertrain technologies, outstanding safety features, luxurious interiors, and promises a combination of performance and fuel efficiency. It comes with a 2.0L 4-Cylinder engine, an automatic 8-Speed AWD, has a power output of 225HP and 470Nm torque.
Built on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA), the new XC90 will be the first to carry the company’s new more prominent iron mark, which has the iconic arrow elegantly aligned with the diagonal slash across the grille. Together with the T-shaped “Thor’s Hammer” DRL lights, the iron mark introduces an entirely new, distinctive and confident face for Volvo’s forthcoming generation of cars.
