The new Audi A6 35 TFSI launched at INR 45.90 lacs

Mumbai, 11 September 2015: Audi today introduced the new Audi A6 35 TFSI at an ex-showroom price of INR 45.90 lacs. The vehicle comes with a new 1.8L turbocharged engine, that is 200 cc smaller than the previous one, and boasts of improved efficiency with its Auto Engine Start/Stop system with Energy Recovery. As a result, fuel efficiency of the Audi A6 35 TFSI goes up by 12.7%, and power output by 5%.

Exterior features include LED headlights, rear lights with dynamic turn indicators, restyled bumpers and the Audi Singleframe grill. Interiors have upholstery in Milano Leather and Fine Grain Ash Natural Brown Inlays. The front seats are electrically adjustable with Driver Memory Function and it has a Four-Zone automatic air conditioning system. Then there is Audi Drive Select that allows customers to opt for a relaxed drive in Comfort mode or a Dynamic mode for cruising on the highways.

The new 1.8L TFSI engine is mated with a Seven speed S-tronic transmission and combines an output of 190 hp with a fuel efficiency of 15.26 km/l. Body weight is drastically reduced due to its aluminum and high strength steel construction, making it more efficient than before.

The new Audi A6 is 4.93 meters long with a 2.91 meter wheelbase. It has electrically folding exterior mirrors with memory function, light and rain sensor and a wide array of customer assist systems. The Modular Infotainment Platform has a retractable screen, advanced intuitive voice dialogue system and eight airbags including rear side airbags that gives it best-in-class safety.
