The engine delivers 190 hp (140 kW) and the car gallops from 0-100 km/h in 8.4 seconds. There are four drive modes, steering mounted paddle shifters and adaptive Air Suspension that adjusts to varying road conditions and driving modes. The refinement has increased power output by seven percent and fuel efficiency by five percent as compared to the earlier version.
The exterior has a wider signature Singleframe grille and comes with chrome struts and a redesigned bumper. There are new 18" V-Spoke alloys that enhance the sporty and muscular look.

There is a Next Generation Modular Infotainment Platform in the A6 Matrix with a host of new functionalities like a power-retractable 8" monitor, a Bose® Surround Sound System with 600 watts output, an advanced intuitive voice command system and top of the line navigation system. The MMI® touch also has a Remote Control that give rear passengers control over the console.
The Matrix LED headlights in the new A6 are quite revolutionary. There are 19 light emitting diodes per headlight paired with four reflectors, that produce a high-beam light. While being permanently on high beam, they illuminate the road but switch off individual LEDs to avoid dazzling on coming traffic.
The Audi A6 Matrix is the sixth launch for Audi this year, after the Audi R8 LMX, Audi RS 7 Sportback, Audi TT Coupé, Audi RS 6 Avant and the Audi Q3.
