Aditya Patel aims for a podium finish at the Audi R8 LMS Cup in Korea

Mumbai/ Korea, 14 May 2015: The Audi R8 LMS Cup heads to the Korea International Circuit in South Korea this weekend, and Indian race talent Aditya Patel is confident of continuing his good run. This would be his first outing at the Yeongam track.

Speaking about the weekend ahead, Aditya said, “The circuit at Yeongam is completely new to me. Unlike Zhuhai, I don’t have as many practice sessions to learn the track. I have watched some videos and it does look like a circuit I will thoroughly enjoy driving on. I am looking forward to getting back into the Audi R8 after a two month break and the aim is to be on the top step of the podium.”

Aditya is sponsored and supported by Audi India, JK Tyre and Jubilant Motorworks. He put in some strong performances in the first round of the championship in Zhuhai, China; and after consistently being in the top three throughout all the sessions, he now heads to Korea at third place in the championship, behind Alex Yoong and Rahel Frey.

The first race will be held on Saturday, 16 May 2015 and the second race is on Sunday, 17 May 2015.
