Tata Motors sweeps the CII Design Excellence awards with Zest and Ultra

Mumbai, 21 November, 2014: Tata Motors, with its Zest and Ultra, has won the top awards at the recently concluded 2014 CII Design Excellence Awards. CII initiated the Design Excellence awards in 2011 to establish Design as a tool for national competitiveness in the country.
The Zest clinched the overall title in the ‘Mobility’ category – from among a field of more than 10 vehicles. It also achieved the first rank in the passenger vehicle category to be crowned the best designed car. On the other hand, Ultra won the best designed truck award in the four-wheeled commercial vehicle category.

Commenting on the occasion, Pratap Bose, Head of Design, Tata Motors said, “We at Tata Motors are thrilled to have received this award for the Zest and the Ultra.
