#AutoExpo2014 updates: ‘The Next Big Audi – Audi A3 Sedan’ and a thrilling array of sporty, progressive & sophisticated vehicles

New Delhi, 05 February 2014: German luxury car manufacturer Audi presented an exhilarating line-up of luxury cars along with the Audi Sport quattro concept at the Auto Expo 2014. The company unveiled the next big Audi – Audi A3 Sedan, apart from special versions of its class-leading and award winning SUVs – Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7. Also on display was the most powerful addition to the Indian fleet – the Audi RS 7 Sportback and the Audi R18 e-tron quattro.

Audi made history by becoming the first ever luxury car manufacturer in India to sell more than 10000 units in a single year. It registered a sales of 10002 units in the period January – December 2013. The introduction of the Audi A3 Sedan – a car that reflects technology, everyday suitability and comfort but most of all luxury, reaffirms the company’s commitment and confidence in the Indian market and is expected to open a new customer segment in the country.

The Audi A3 Sedan is a combination of arresting design, visionary technology and luxurious performance, and sets a new benchmark in the category with quality, style and innovation in the forefront. It inherits the genes that embody an Audi and goes a step ahead with latest infotainment system in the Audi Range. It will be the benchmark for entry level luxury cars in the country and is truly ‘luxury without compromise’.

Audi A3 Cabriolet is a 4 seater, 2 door, sporty versatile and elegant car with aggressive styling. It has a fully motorized retractable roof which can be operated on the move.

Combining the power of a sports car with the elegance of a large, five door coupé, the Audi RS 7 Sportsback is the most powerful Audi in India.

A combination of winning motor sport qualities with the utmost in everyday practicality, the brawny, compact, powerful appearance of the Audi sports quattro concept makes no secret of its potential. A thoroughbred driving machine with 515 kW (700 hp), eight cylinder twin turbocharged V-8 engine, a lightweight body and the latest generation of quattro permanent all-wheel drive, this was a head turner at the Audi Stand this year.
