New Delhi, 05 February 2014: Alongside the global unveiling of the Ford Figo Concept, which is aimed at redefining customer expectations in the B segment, Ford showcased its 2014 line-up of the latest models to be available for India, including the new Ford Fiesta, at the 12th New Delhi Auto Expo 2014.
The Ford Figo Concept represents a vision of premium design and segment-redefining smart and safety technologies in a global compact car, without compromising on value or performance. Ford has created the Ford Figo Concept using design elements common to more expensive vehicles. The front trapezoidal grille that has a striking Aston Martin-ish look to it, strongly communicates Ford’s design DNA and shapes the vehicle’s hood, giving it a powerful look. The windshield has been inclined as much as possible to give the vehicle a sleek, fast profile. Bold, elongated and blacked-out headlamps accentuate the Figo Concept’s sporty appearance. Sweeping, curved lines moving from the front to the rear of the vehicle create a sense of movement. Light-catchers along the sides of the vehicle, giving the Figo Concept a robust and muscular presence.

The new Ford Fiesta, with a rejuvenated, stylish and bold design, and more advanced technologies, will continue to appeal to enthusiasts looking for sophisticated design and performance. The 2014 Ford Fiesta brings a bold redesigned exterior and improved interior to Indian customers following a strong global reception, and will be launched later this year. New design features the trapezoidal front grille, that creates an assertive, confident appearance. The mobile phone-inspired dashboard and leather steering wheel with audio controls amplify the modern interior and entice drivers to get in the car and on the move. Technologies including Ford SYNC® with AppLink help drivers to stay connected and deliver a smarter, safer driving experience.
