Simmi Sarma
A food technologist by profession and an author, writer & language coach by passion, Simmi has spent several years in the food & hospitality industry. She worked with the Taj Group of Hotels, and then as a National Consultant with the World Health Organization, followed by a stint as a Project Consultant, Mission Economique, UBIfrance at the Embassy of France, New Delhi. She writes, edits and translates in English, French and Hindi and has a keen interest in the Urdu script as well. She is a published biographer to one of India’s renowned educationist and reformer, and has edited several books on a variety of subjects. Simmi writes for news publications and digital platforms on Current Affairs, Travel, Food, Health & Lifestyle, Education, Environment and more. She also undertakes language teaching & training assignments, and creates, coordinates & conducts training modules for various levels within organisations.
