Volvo EX30 Pre-Bookings Open at INR 39.99 Lacs
We drove the Volvo EX30 earlier this month when the prices were yet to be revealed. Well, Volvo Car India has finally revealed the pricing, and it’s within expected lines.
The compact, stylish EV will launch at an ex-showroom price of INR 41 lacs, but if you’re quick off the mark, you can pre-reserve it at INR 39.99 lacs. This is a festive offer, and valid for all bookings made until 19 October 2025. Deliveries kick off in the first week of November, just in time to put an electric twist on your festive road trips.
Small Car, Big Ambitions
The EX30 is the third Volvo EV to be locally assembled in Bengaluru, India, and comes loaded with goodies: an 11kW wallbox charger, a digital key that lets your phone double as a car key, and Volvo’s hassle-free ownership package covering warranty, service, roadside assistance, and connected services.
Jyoti Malhotra, MD of Volvo Car India, sums it up best: “The EX30 is designed for those who appreciate power, design, and sustainable luxury. Small in size, big on ambition.”
Design & Awards
This is Volvo’s greenest EV yet. Interiors use recycled materials like denim, PET bottles, and even aluminium from old pipes. It’s won Red Dot: Best of the Best 2024 and World Urban Car of the Year 2024, proving that sustainability can also be stylish.
Tech & Safety
Inside, it’s pure Scandinavian calm meets smart tech:
- 12.3-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, 5G, and OTA updates
- Harman Kardon 1040W sound system with a first ever sound bar design stretching across the dash
- Five ambient lighting themes inspired by Nordic seasons
- Safe Space Tech with cameras, radars, and sensors that basically think faster than you do
- Safety features including 5-star Euro NCAP rating, intersection auto-brake, lane-keeping, BLIS with steer assist, 360° camera
The Numbers That Matter
The Single Motor Extended Range variant packs:
- 272 hp, 343 Nm torque
- 69 kWh battery, 480 km range (WLTP)
- 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, top speed 180 km/h
- One-pedal drive for effortless city scooting
Bottom Line
As we said earlier, the EX30 is one of the most rational EVs you can buy. A full-package urban achiever. Stylish, smart, safe, and surprisingly green, it’s got the kind of personality that you admire and trust, even though you may not outright drool over it.
Pro tip: pre-book before 19 October if you don’t want to crib over that INR 1 lac difference later.
