Tata Motors x Auto Expo 2023

Posted on

One of the biggest exhibitors in this edition of the Auto Expo, Tata Motors has put up on display 12 vehicles and concepts, showcasing its prowess in design, smart tech and green mobility solutions. After the success of the Nexon.EV and closing the year with more than 50,000 electric vehicles sold, electrification of its popular SUV range seems to be high priority for Tata Motors in the coming years.

The showstopper amongst the displayed vehicles is the SIERRA.EV, a timeless design created with ‘Human Experience’ at its core. The SIERRA.EV retains some of the classic contours and design elements of the original iconic estate from the 90’s, but follows a minimalist approach inside out to give it a more futuristic vibe.

The all-wheel electric SUV, HARRIER.EV, is an important announcement as well, marking the entry of the first full size electric SUV in India. It is bold, powerful, intelligent and developed on the Gen 2 architecture. Harrier has already established itself as a much loved SUV in the Indian market, and its progressive advancement into the electric universe will only strengthen its market position further.

The public debut of AVINYA concept, is a visual attraction like none other. As an expression of a pure electric vehicle built on the GEN 3 architecture, it introduces a new typology of mobility that liberates enormous roominess and comfort. The ANINYA is unlike any other Tata passenger car that one has seen before, and gives us a peak into Tata vehicle designs in the future.

Another attractive display is the ICE version of the Concept CURVV, a vehicle that merges the robust appeal of SUV with a sports coupe, to find the perfect balance between elegance, performance and practicality.

In the CNG segment, Tata showcases the advanced Altroz iCNG and Punch iCNG with a new twin-cylinder technology, that frees up the full boot to add more space and improve vehicle performance. For performance enthusiasts, there is the Altroz Racer and the sporty version of the Tiago.ev on display, in their fun to drive avatars that add a gritty on-road presence.
