Fighting emission with an e-mission. Hero Electric steps up its support for Super Sikh Run 2018

Hero Electric, a pioneer in the Indian electric two-wheeler industry has reaffirmed its support for the Super Sikh Run, by announcing its association as the lead sponsor of the third edition of the event in the capital.

Hero Electric operates in the personal mobility space, providing eco-friendly and cost-effective personalised transportation, and is the market leader in the electric two-wheeler industry. It has over 200,000 customers with more than 400 dealerships across the country.

The Super Sikh Run is a cause led Half Marathon event which is gaining popularity each year. It takes place annually in New Delhi, has had two successful editions in 2016 & 2017, and believes in the credo – One Race. Human Race.

The third edition of Super Sikh Run will be an inclusive run for humanity, breaking all barriers of caste, creed, religion, sex, race and physical disabilities. The half marathon will be held on 09 December and start from New Delhi’s Rakab Ganj Gurudwara. It will be led by the Super Squad, a group of extraordinary men and women including Major DP Singh – Kargil war veteran and India’s First Blade Runner.

Hero Electric’s mission of ‘No Emission’ shines through with their effort to provide sustainable mobility through a range of e-vehicles. And now, supporting mobility for the physically challenged is an e-mission that they are committed towards for the future. A new race category #SAHAS has been added to this edition of Super Sikh Run, which is sponsored by Mediva, a Hero Eco group company that provides medical rehabilitation and mobility aids. SAHAS will light a candle of hope in honour and in celebration of the indomitable human spirit that has the resilience to fight against all odds. This race will be under 3 categories: Wheelchair: Prosthetic leg/ blade/ crutches and visually impaired athletes.
