Tata Hexa launched in Nepal

Kathmandu: The first batch of Tata Motor’s new SUV Hexa have arrived in the Nepal market. Eleven customers were handed over the keys at a special occassion, in the presence of Tata Motors CEO & MD Guenter Butschek.

The Hexa will be available in the XT 4×4 variant in Nepal at a price of NPR 77.95 lacs. It comes with a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine with 156PS peak power and 400Nm peak torque. Additionally, the XT 4×4 is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Hexa features ‘Super Drive Modes’ that can be activated through a rotary knob on the center console, that allows the driver to switch between a choice of driving modes – Auto, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough Road.

The Engine Management features a new-generation Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Torque on Demand (TOD) and the ambient lighting for the interior and instrument cluster displays can be customized according to user preference. Other features include projector headlamps, 19″ alloys, LED tail lamps, 6 airbags, traction control system, hill hold control, hill descent control, automatic headlamps and a 10-speaker JBL Audio System.
