Chennai, 09 November 2017: Datsun celebrated the production milestone of its 100,000th car in India, as a redi-GO 1.0L rolled out of its manufacturing facility in Chennai.

Customer response to Datsun’s portfolio of GO, GO+ and redi-GO has been encouraging and the Datsun brand now accounts for more than half of the total sales of Nissan Motor in India.

The Datsun redi-GO particularly has got a good response so far. The Japanese design philosophy YUKAN, which stands for brave and bold, is the essence of its ‘Tall-Boy’ styling. It has a ground clearance of 185 mm, extra roominess and offers good all round visibility for the driver. It also comes with a comprehensive safety package, Datsun PRO-SAFE7.

Datsun redi-GO was launched in June 2016, and three refreshed variants have been offered ever since – redi-GO SPORT, redi-GO 1.0L and the redi-GO 1.0L GOLD.
