Volkswagen Passat. Now #MadeInIndia
Mumbai, 20 September 2017: Volkswagen has commenced production for the all New Passat at its Aurangabad facility. This will be the first luxury sedan based on the MQB platform for Volkswagen in India. The Passat will be available with a 2.0L TDI, 177 PS engine mated to a 6-speed DSG automatic gearbox offering a perfect blend of performance, efficiency, luxury and safety.
The premium luxury sedan has been introduced back into the portfolio for the Indian market after a prolonged hiatus. It is now even more stylish and timeless in its design, and offers a premium driving experience, bringing to life the legacy of the brand.
