Jeep Compass ramps up production as bookings touch the 10,000 mark

Mumbai, 1 September 2017: In just over a month since it opened pre-bookings, Jeep Compass has touched the magical 10,000 bookings milestone. The new compact SUV has gained remarkable traction in the market, on the back of a well developed product pitched at an aggressive price.

The range in India starts at INR 14.95 Lacs (ex-Delhi) for the 1.4L Multi-Air Turbo Petrol ‘Sport’ 4×2 variant with a 6-speed manual transmission, and tops with the 2.0L MultiJet Turbo Diesel ‘Limited (O)’ 4×4 variant with a 6-speed manual transmission, which is priced at INR 20.65 lacs.

It is available in three trims – Sport, Longitude and Limited and 10 variants, including a 4×2 Turbo Petrol with a 7-speed automatic transmission (DDCT). The Limited is equipped with Jeep’s legendary Active Drive with Selec Terrain Traction Management System that lets the driver choose from four terrain modes – Auto, Mud, Sand and Snow.

The Jeep Compass is available with a three-year/100,000 km manufacturer’s warranty and in addition, a complimentary Road-side Assistance (RSA) package for three years. Customers can avail of an extended warranty program to enjoy additional warranty up to one or two years and also choose from over 30 accessories, which are available at all authorized sales and service outlets.

Deliveries of the Jeep Compass started on 6 August 2017.
