Triumph Bonneville Bobber – the handcrafted heritage ride for gentlemen

Posted on

New Delhi, 29 March 2017: The brutally beautiful Bonneville Bobber is as authentic as it gets – handcrafted, custom styled, minimalistic, and with a pure bloodline. The stunning modern classic motorcycle has been launched by Triumph Motorcycles in India at an unexpectedly attractive price of INR 9.09 lacs.

The heritage of Bobber customs goes back to the 1940’s, and this one sports a muscular stance and is purposefully engineered to reflect the attitude of a genuine Bobber. It strips the Bonneville T120 to its purest essence, with clean lines and low stance, single seat, wide flat bars, minimal bodywork and headlight, sculpted tank, wire spoked wheels, with wide rear wheel and that all important hard tail look. Every bit of detailing, be it the battery box with a stainless steel strap, bar end mirrors, bronze 120HT engine badges, signature Triumph mark, branded fuel cap, brushed engine covers – everything remains true to origin and is meticulously crafted to perfection.

The Bonneville Bobber introduces a first in class adjustable floating seat that allows the rider to adjust to different ride styles. Be it ‘up & forward’ roadster like or ‘down and laid back’ to cruise along, you can effortlessly slip into your comfort zone. Rider focused technology include ride-by-wire, torque assist clutch, switchable traction control and road & rain full power riding modes. All electronic components are hidden from view so as not to compromise its clean lines and the signature Bonnie straight-line ‘hidden cat box’ exhaust is neatly incorporated without interfering with the Bobber’s stunning looks.

The 1200cc engine has category leading torque, with more torque and power lower down than the Bonneville T120. The rich Bobber soundtrack is delivered through brushed stainless steel twin skin exhausts with ‘slash cut’ sawn off peashooter silencers.

The Bonneville Bobber has over 150 additional accessories that allows you to personalize it to your choice for more style, detailing, comfort and even performance. For an even more distinct character, there are high ‘ape hanger’ bars, a statement rider seat and bar end peep mirrors.

There are four colours to choose from: Ironstone (with a matt finish), Morello Red, Competition Green & Frozen Silver (with a British racing twist) and Jet Black.

What makes it sweeter is the high first major service interval of 16,000 kms, which means miles and miles of uninterrupted hassle free riding, out there in the open.
