Mahindra’s electric car e2oPlus launched at INR 5.46 lacs onwards

With zero emission, the ‘e2oPlus’ can travel for upto 140 kms and achieve a top speed of 85 km/h. It is powered by the latest electric drive train technology from Mahindra Electric, sports a tall-boy design and offers improved knee room, headroom and interior space for four adults. With a small turning radius of 4.35m and electric power steering, the e2oPlus makes manoeuvring through city traffic easy.

Regenerative Braking charges the battery every time brakes are applied, helping the car recover the energy it dispenses. It also gets instant torque for maximum momentum and a REVive® feature that can be activated to gain an extra 5-10 kms of range, to help reach home or the nearest charging station if the car runs low on energy.

The e2oPlus can be easily charged through a normal 16 Amp plug point. Running expenses are as low as 70 paise/km and fewer moving parts in the car accompanied by real time monitoring ensures glitch free driving and low maintenance.

Remote Diagnostics through 10 on-board computers track around 196 performance and health related parameters to ensure that any possible snag is fixed as soon as it crops up. There are regular performance and driving patterns analysis to review the battery’s service requirements and the e2oPlus app assists with information on the nearest charging station. The app also puts the car’s information and control in one’s smart phone allowing one to lock/unlock, retrieve performance metrics, health metrics and charging schedules.

The e2oPlus is also the most environmentally friendly commute, with zero tail-pipe emissions and a low carbon footprint.  It is available in 4 trim levels (P2, P4, P6, P8) and 4 colours – Coral Blue, Sparkling Wine, Arctic Silver, and Solid White to choose from.
