#DiscoverMore: Harley-Davidson gives riders an opportunity to ride across the American Route 66

New Delhi, May 12, 2016: One lucky rider from India could have a once-in-a-lifetime experience of touring through the famous Route 66 across the US on a Harley-Davidson, with all expenses paid and US $1,000 of spending money.

To qualify for the #DiscoverMore contest, riders will have to complete an extended test ride and book a Harley-Davidson motorcycle from the Dyna™, Softail™ or Touring family between 12th May and 31st July 2016.

The 15-day guided road trip would start in Chicago and end in Los Angeles, and includes round-trip tickets, accommodation and the exclusive use of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle throughout the trip. Travelling through diverse landscapes across small town America, the beautiful Rocky Mountains, the Texas panhandle, the desolate Mojave Desert, and the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, the ride will finish at Santa Monica Pier after about 3000 miles. Along the way, it would give riders an insight into the American people and their history, with stops at historic landmarks that would retrace the path during the Dust Bowl period of the 1930s, when many migrated to the West. Other highlights would include a visit to the Harley-Davidson museum at its hometown of Milwaukee, as well as stops at old trading posts with filling stations, motels, and diners along the scenic “Mother Road” of America.
