‘Made in India’ Baleno launched in Japan
Hamamatsu/New Delhi, 09 March 2016: The Baleno first exhibited at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Sept 2015 and was launched in India on 26 October 2016. It has been a smashing success ever since, with Maruti Suzuki having already sold over 38,000 units in the domestic market.
Manufactured in India at the Manesar facility of Maruti Suzuki, the Baleno now finds its way into parent company Suzuki Motor Corporation’s homeland, Japan. While Maruti Suzuki already exports to over 125 countries including Europe, the Baleno specifically will be exported to more than 100 countries eventually.
The Baleno is a premium compact hatchback that combines style, performance and technology in a smart value package. With its liquid flow design theme, compact body, spacious interior and efficient powertrains on a new-generation platform, it is a fine balance between nimble performance and refined riding comfort.
